Morrison cuts prices on 4000 products

"Morrisons is turning up the heat in the grocery wars by cutting the price on 4,000 products
Morrisons said that many of the price cuts 50 per cent or better. Angus Maciver, group marketing and communications director, said: "We know that times are tough for everyone, so we're working even harder to ensure people can keep some extra money in their pockets."
Last month figures from TNS Worldpanel revealed that Tesco's market share had fallen from 31.2 per cent to 30.7 per cent over the year. Asda share had grown from 17.2 per cent to 17.8 per cent while Morrisons and Sainsbury's, were flat at 16.3 per cent and 11.9 per cent, respectively."
